The Community Project Grant is an extension of the program to assist HBCUs with outreach and connection in their surrounding communities. School administrators are encouraged to email us with questions and for additional information.

THE RETOOL YOUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY PROJECT GRANT


ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION PROCESS

Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements outlined in the FAQs. The school’s faculty, students, or alumni must partner with a local nonprofit to determine the project’s scope of work that addresses a need in the community and partner together to complete the project. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria determined by The Home Depot.
