For years, the online voting challenge has been one of the core parts of the Campus Improvement Grant program. Because the online voting challenge is so important, this year, we’re making voting easier than ever.
There will be one simple way to vote in the 2024 online voting challenge. Visit retoolyourschool.com/vote and vote for your favorite HBCU.
This means that there will be no social media voting in 2024. Votes cast on X (formerly known as Twitter) or Instagram will not count. Also, there will not be school-specific hashtags for voting as in years past. The only votes that will count toward your HBCU’s official vote total will be those made at retoolyourschool.com/vote.
These changes will make it easier for HBCU students, staff, alumni and supporters to vote for their favorite HBCUs. Voting for the 2024 online voting challenge will begin on Monday, February 26, 2024, and end on March 24, 2024. The voting page will only be live during these dates.
Over the past 15 years, Retool Your School has awarded more than 273 Campus Improvement Grants worth more than $9.2 million to participating HBCUs.
